Program Description
The Diploma in Accounting program is a flexible, fast paced training program designed to accelerate your career in the financial services sector. It will prepare you with an advanced proficiency in using all major accounting software applications to manage record, analyze and forecast financial data.
On successful completion of this training course student will have gained the knowledge and skills required to manage, evaluate and control the finances of organizations, businesses and corporations.
Graduates of this 28 week program can find employment in entry-level accounting positions in industry, public accounting, and government.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- OR Equivalent International Credential are accepted only if assessed by WES/CES/ICAS/IQAS
- OR Mature students successfully pass the Wonderlic basic skill test (both verbal & quantitative )
- Passing an admission interview

This program provides a board-based accounting education for persons who want to begin a career in accounting. This is a foundational study program leading to career as a Chartered Accountant, Certified General Accountant or a Certified Management Accountant.
