Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Program
Program Description
This program is intended for students who are interested to become a successful Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Osteopathy focuses on facilitating the health of joints and muscles through non-medical manual therap., This program will teach you to develop knowledge and technique through theory and practical hands-on training; needed to become successful in the field.
This program does not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Admission Requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older no age limit
Courses
Your training will include Theory and Practical (at a facility).
Course Outcome
- Assist patients who have joint and muscles pain; through non-medical manual therapy,
- Be able to diagnose and treat patients.
- Use manual approaches to healing the body.
- Soft tissue Techniques which can be applied directly or indirectly to muscles.
